Professional Rack Mount Power Distribution Units (PDU)

Welcome to the Banatton Power Distribution Unit (PDU) catalog. In high-density IT environments, reliable power delivery to each server and network switch is critical. Our 19-inch rack mount PDUs are engineered for durability and safety, providing a robust power interface for your data center cabinets. Available in various global socket standards—including Universal, Schuko, NEMA, and IEC C13/C19—our PDUs feature heavy-duty aluminum housings and advanced protection modules to ensure your hardware stays powered and protected 24/7.

Reliable Cabinet Power Distribution for Mission-Critical IT

As server densities increase, the demand for high-quality power distribution units becomes more vital. A low-quality PDU can become a single point of failure for an entire rack. Banatton’s PDUs are designed to mitigate this risk. Constructed with high-grade aluminum alloy shells and internal copper busbar technology, our PDUs provide superior heat dissipation and electrical conductivity, ensuring a stable power supply for servers, storage arrays, and telecommunication equipment.

Our Global PDU Solutions Portfolio

We provide a wide array of PDU configurations tailored to the diverse electrical standards of the global market:

  • Basic Rack PDUs: Cost-effective, reliable power distribution for environments that require simple, high-density socket availability without the need for active monitoring.

  • Metered PDUs: Equipped with integrated LCD displays that allow technicians to monitor real-time current (Amps) at the rack level. This helps prevent circuit overloads during hardware expansions.

  • Global Socket Standards: We manufacture PDUs with a variety of outlet types, including American NPT/NEMA, German Schuko, British Standard (UK), and universal sockets, as well as IEC 60320 C13 and C19 for high-current IT loads.

  • Multiple Protection Modules: Our PDUs can be customized with various protection features, such as master switches, overload circuit breakers, and high-performance lightning/surge protection modules.

Engineered for Professional Data Center Installation

Banatton PDUs are designed with the installer in mind. Our 1U and 2U horizontal models fit perfectly into any standard 19-inch IT rack, while our high-density vertical (0U) PDUs save valuable rack space by mounting on the side of the cabinet. With heavy-duty power cords and secure internal connections, our units reduce fire risks and minimize voltage drops across the entire power chain.

Power Distribution Unit (PDU) FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between a Basic PDU and an Intelligent PDU?
A1: A Basic PDU provides reliable power distribution without any monitoring or networking capabilities. An Intelligent PDU (iPDU), such as our monitored or switched models, includes a digital display and network interface (SNMP/Modbus). It allows users to monitor real-time power metrics (current, voltage, energy usage) and, in the case of switched PDUs, remotely control individual outlets to reboot servers or manage loads.

Q2: Are Banatton PDUs compatible with standard 19-inch server racks?
A2: Yes. Our horizontal PDU models are specifically designed to fit into standard 19-inch IT racks and occupy only 1U or 2U of space. For racks with limited horizontal space, we also offer Vertical (0U) PDUs that mount on the back of the cabinet, providing a high density of outlets without taking up valuable rack unit space for servers.

Q3: Can the socket types and input plugs be customized for different countries?
A3: Absolutely. As an original manufacturer, we can customize the PDU to meet any regional requirement. This includes offering a mix of IEC sockets and regional sockets (such as UK, Schuko, or American styles) on the same unit. We also provide various input options, including standard power cords or industrial-grade plugs (e.g., 16A/32A/63A), to ensure the PDU integrates perfectly with your facility’s power infrastructure.
